Street Backpackers (1800 069 731):
110
Franklin Street
This very big hostel is literally right across from the bus station
in the city centre, so very convenient if you are sick carrying your
backpack around the place. Smoking/non-smoking tv rooms, large well
equipped kitchens, pool tables and table-tennis tables and internet
access are just some of the facilties here. You can also book your tours
here. One downfall is the hostel's bar - it can be a tad quiet. Beds
in dorms of 10 cost $15 per night, and $18 in dorms of 4
