Sydney is Australia's largest city and home to two of the country's most recogniseable landmarks. The city is situated on one of the most spectacular harbours and has endless magnificent sights to see and places to visit.

Unlike other Australian cities, the city centre is very compact and focuses on four to five main streets which run parallel to each other. All these streets lead to Circular Quay, home to the Opera House and the best place to view the magnificent Harbour Bridge. The main wharf is there also, if you plan on catching a ferry anywhere.

Apart from these better-known attractions there are other many great places to visit - Bondi and Manly beaches, the historical Queen Victioria Building shopping centre, The Rocks (Sydney's first settlement) and Watson's Bay.
